To ensure a conducive environment for study, research, and learning, all users are required to comply with the following library policies.

📚 Book Loans

 Standard Loan

  • Registered users may borrow up to 10 books for a period of 5 weeks.
  • Loans may be renewed up to two (2) times, provided the item has not been reserved by another user.
  • Renewals can be made via:
    • OPAC system (using your User ID and PIN), or
    • Email request

Registered Course Participants

  • Course participants are entitled to borrow up to 20 books for the duration of their course.

 

⚠️ Loss or Damaged Items

Users are responsible for all borrowed materials and library property. This includes:

  • In the event of loss or damage, users may be required to:
    • Replace the item, or
    • Pay the applicable charges

🪪 Library Membership Card

  • Users must lodge a police report if the membership card is lost.
  • A copy of the police report must be submitted to the library.
  • Borrowing privileges will resume after the report has been verified.

🚫 Food and Drinks

The library provides a welcoming environment that supports study, research, and learning.

  • Food and drinks are not permitted inside the library to protect materials, equipment, and facilities.
  • For your convenience, refreshments are available at HYS Tindulang Cafe, located near the library.
